Dr. Louis Dietterman Scholarship

The Dr. Louis Dietermann Science Scholarship is given by the generosity of Mrs. Maretta Dieterman. Dr. Deiterman graduated from Temple High School in 1950. He earned his BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees at The University of Texas in Austin. In 1965 he established the Physics Department at Scott and White, coordinated patient treatments in Radiation Therapy, and was a professor at the Texas A&M College of Medicine Health Sciences division. He was an outdoorsman and an avid amateur astronomer. The $2,000 scholarship is a one-time award to a Student pursuing a degree in the sciences.
