About Bob McQueen Scholarship

The Bob McQueen Scholarship was established in 2017 when he was honored as the TEF 2017 Distinguished Alumni. Coach McQueen is a 1956 graduate of Temple High. He was recognized for his 28 years of service as Head Football Coach and Athletic Director for the Temple Independent School District. Under his leadership, generations of student athletes were coached and mentored in football for 24 winning seasons, 14 district titles, qualified for playoffs 18 times and advanced to the State championship three times.
