About MHH Scholarship

The MHH Scholarship is established by Josie Hatfield in memory of Malcom Howard Hatfield. While attending the University of Houston, Mr. Hatfield enlisted in the U.S. Marines for two consecutive tours of duty in Korea on the USS St. Paul. He was employed with Western Auto for 40 years and was passionate about ministering God’s Word to the juvenile boys at McLennan County State Correctional Facility in Mart. One $1500 scholarship will be awarded to a THS graduate pursuing education after high school at either a college, university, or trade school.
